If you were to draw a line on a map from Oregon to Hawaii, it would be pretty straight, right? Not so for Elise Valeschini. This Oregon native — who speaks fluent Italian and listens to Italian songs in her kitchen and her car — has literally zigzagged across the globe. In fact, over the course of about five years, she’s lived in places that most people only dream about. After college, she lived down under in Australia for a few months before moving to Italy to work as an au pair. From there, she jumped at the chance to teach English in Thailand. Her love of travel and adventure is as strong as the pull of the ocean tides. But ultimately, it was her love of the beach lifestyle and a desire to be a little closer to family that brought her to the islands where she lives with her husband and surfs every chance she gets. There are still things on her bucket list: fly in a hot air balloon, visit Alaska. In the meantime, she finds great joy in helping her clients check things off their own bucket list…like finding the perfect home.
